The Sands of Time!

Review by Julianna (Concord MA USA, 11)-
The Sands of time is nothing short of a mystery. When Hermux Tantamoq finds himself
face to face with his father’s old friend, who claims that he is Hermux’s friend Mirrin's
lover, from way back when, Hermux finds himself caught up in a mystery filled with
ancient mythical creatures, cats, scrolls, and beautiful dancing machines. He can only
call adventurous Miss Linka Perflinger to help him and his friends from being double
crossed by a mad scholar who wants the prize for himself. In this crazy twister of time,
Hermux figures out, even the most promising of stories could have a bad ending.
I would rate this book 4.5/5 Stars because the author used wit, spook, and adventure to
make this a thrilling page turner that I resisted putting down. I think it was very good
book because it shows a modern day human setting filled with mice and other out-door
creatures, but at the same time remembering to add animal's needs and wants. Overall,
the sequel to Time Stops for No Mouse is filled with suspense, mystery and a touch of
darkness.
